Pending Federal Organic Certification

What this means for you: Genesee Farm is currently in the final administrative stages of securing official USDA Organic certification. Our 130 acres of land have already successfully undergone the strict, multi-year transition process required to eliminate all prohibited synthetic fertilizers, chemicals, and pesticides.

While we await the final official federal seal, we operate 100% in alignment with national organic standards. When you enjoy our bio-nutritious greens, you can rest assured they are already grown under the strictest organic parameters.

Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) Certificate

What this means for you: Food safety is our highest priority. Developed in partnership with the FDA and USDA, the Produce Safety Alliance Certificate verifies that our founder, Leila Levi, has completed advanced training in strict on-farm food safety practices.

This federal qualification confirms that Genesee Farm complies with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule. It means we maintain expert control over:

  • Microbiological Risks: Actively preventing pathogens from ever contacting our crops.
  • Water Quality: Strict testing and management of both growing and post-harvest water.
